What murphy bed takes the least space?
Horizontal models and cabinet beds project least when open. A horizontal twin or full opens sideways along the wall, needing far less floor depth than a vertical queen. Sort the table by open depth and the answer is the top rows.
Do murphy beds work in studio apartments?

Can I install a murphy bed in a rental?
Wall-mounted beds need anchoring into studs, which many leases will not allow. Freestanding cabinet beds skip the anchoring entirely and move out with you.
